With that permission, Ashley gets up, taking his teacup with him. He comes around the table and seats himself neatly across Ereuvir's lap, and then continues his process of deconstructing and eating pastries as casually as ever. He hooks one foot very coyly around the back of Ereuvir's calf, which also helps to keep him balanced on Ereuvir's lap as he reaches across the table for the pastry that he wants.
