Ashley's shyness is a little weird, since even thought Arkady has always considered himself the dominant partner, Ashley's always used his hold on his brother to make him do what he wants. But they aren't in the realm of the living anymore. They belong to the ruler of this realm, and are allowed here on his whims.

Arkady guides Ashley over to the bed, his hands slipping under his brother's shirt so he may relieve him of the garment. It's also an opportunity to roam his hands over Ashley's skin, something he's dearly missed doing.
